	Step aside intimate weddings!  Forty percent of brides surveyed are looking forward to inviting 100 to 150 people!  And another 36% are planning on more than 150 in attendance.
	Candles rule! Over and over, brides are seeking candles as their number one favor choice.
	Today’s brides are classic and elegant, and it shows in their color choices! It’s all about black and white!  Brides are putting a modern twist on this classic combination by showcasing black flowers and accessories. Adding a third color choice is the perfect way to incorporate a dramatic splash of color to the wedding day.  Brides are choosing shades of blue, clover green, orange, gold, bright yellow and lavender to do just that. In case you were wondering, steel gray will replace chocolate brown as the new accent color for 2009.  It can be paired with almost anything and looks great with both bright and monotone colors.
	Brides are always asking for practical favors. Perfect…because that is our specialty!  That goes for wedding attire as well. Brides are choosing more practical bridesmaid dresses that are comfortable and after-wedding ready. We’re also seeing a growing trend in shorter wedding dresses and bridesmaid dresses   perfect for dancing the night away at the reception!
	Vintage dresses, vintage rings, vintage favors! Brides want their weddings to reflect their classic style with a vintage feel. We’re seeing a return to chiffon, lace and tulle as popular wedding dress fabrics. Antique-style engagement rings are also making a comeback. A few recent quotes from our brides:
