The wedding date is set, and it’s time to take engagement photos! Engagement photos are perfect for announcing your engagement, including in your save the dates or for customizing your own wedding site. Capture fantastic photos with these fabulous tips to style your own shoot.
1. Go Outside
Don’t be cooped up inside! Take your shoot outside to a location that you love or to one that’s special for the two of you. The spot you were engaged, a local landmark, or a beautiful open field are all great options.
2. Incorporate Your Wedding Theme or Personal Style
If you plan on having a boho chic theme for your wedding, include carefree bohemian details as part of your photo shoot. A lush flower crown is a pretty boho accessory for your hair.

3. Dress for the Occasion
There’s no need for matching outfits. Instead, wear coordinating outfits that complement each other and the setting. Keep it casual and comfortable.
4. Set Up a Real Tablescape
Elevate your photos with a few extra props. Create an elegant tablescape complete with tasty canapés and drinks you and your fiancé can snack on during and after the shoot.
Natural touches, like vivid blooms and succulents, add a burst of color and life to pictures.
Mix in more lovely details, like a nice cheese plate and potted succulents. Glam up the succulents by painting the tips gold!
Style Tip: Place faux succulents into small pots and keep them to use as décor for your wedding or bridal shower.

5. Get Cozy
