There is something incredibly romantic about a wedding in the mountains. The air is crisp with nature in all directions. The mountains create an inherently rustic ambiance and the color scheme can be taken in a million different directions. This Utah mountain wedding went with romantic blush hues and it couldn’t have been more beautiful. Keep reading to see what made this mountain wedding so perfect.
The Mountains
Most people drive to weddings but this wedding required a gondola ride—and it was worth every second! The mountains created a beautiful and effortless backdrop for the ceremony, reception and photos. We guarantee not one person who attended this wedding will forget this beautiful day.
The Bridal Party Attire
The bridal party started off the day in fun, floral robes. The rose color in the robes ended up being a hint of what was to come in the dresses—and really in the entire wedding. The bridesmaids wore beautiful floor length dresses in a light rose color. The junior bridesmaids wore the same dresses but had them cut to a midi length. We love this fun little detail!
The Vintage Flair
While the bridesmaids were in rose, the bride wore a classic white lace dress. Her hair was pulled back in a loose bun and dressed with a vintage birdcage veil. The bride’s classic look paired perfectly with the retro car.
The Color Scheme
The bridesmaid dresses weren’t the only rose hues at this wedding! The tables were draped with rose tablecloths and topped with matching napkins. The centerpieces were made up of beautiful votive holders with white and rose-colored flowers. And the bride’s bouquet matched, too! Lastly, the key escort cards tied together both the rose and vintage themes.
The Cake
The cake mimicked the bride’s lace dress with small patterns and details. And the addition of pink flowers brought in the rose theme. But what really made this cake stand out was the beautiful cake topper!
