Beep beep! The cutest Precious Cargo birthday party is coming through! Fill the room with some of the birthday boy’s favorite things, like trucks, trains, cars, and airplanes for a fabulous bash. Use a few of these ideas (and a free printable!) to inspire a party all your own.
Cars, Planes and Trains
Tiny trains, airplanes and cars are delightful touches to each place setting. Use transportation themed place card holders for food labels or escort cards to show guests where to sit.
Personalized Drinks
Commemorate the special occasion with personalized mason mugs with an airplane theme or a charming train design. They make wonderful party decor and guests can take them home as a favor after the party’s over!
Don’t forget to add personalized straw flags to matching blue and white paper straws for added pizzazz!
Precious Train Details
Green stripes and pops of navy and light blue create a splendid color palette. Frosted glass tea light holders give off a soft glow at the table, and the little train charm is an extra darling detail!

DIY Placemats
Easy, handmade projects add an ultra cute factor to this party! Make your own placemats with just three supplies.
You’ll need:
- One pair of scissors
- Tape (We used white Artists Tape)
- Set of plain placemats (We found a set of gray ones with ruffled edges)
Begin by cutting tape and sticking it on the placemat to create a little road. You can create the same road design or get creative and make a different design on each placemat!
DIY Donut Favors
Before guests depart, ask them to go by “Baggage Claim” for one last take-home gift. These DIY donut favors are so adorable and incredibly easy to make.
You’ll need:
- Cupcake boxes (These cupcake boxes are great alternatives, and they come with ribbon!)
- Mini chocolate donuts
- Green and white baker’s twine (Optional if using ribbon with above cupcake boxes)
- FREE “We wheely loved having you!” printable tags
Start by assembling each cupcake box and adding a few donuts in each box. Then, wrap the baker’s twine around each box and tie a printed tag to the top. And, presto! Your clever little favors are complete!
