To say this wedding is beautiful is an understatement. Multiple, joyous events leading up to the wedding made this one incredible celebration! From a fun mehndi party to a glam reception, there are so many swoonworthy details. Keep reading to see what all we love from this colorful Persian/South Asian/Muslim wedding!
1. A Beautiful Muslim Wedding Ceremony
The wedding day began with the nikah ceremony at a mosque. This Muslim ceremony consists of the groom’s formal proposal, and the marriage license is signed.
2. Pretty Pink Bridal Look
The bride looked pretty in blush and white for her first wedding look! A sparkly crystal tikka and a red, white, and blush garden-picked bouquet were lovely additions to her ensemble.
3. A Festive Mehndi Party
The night prior to the wedding, the bride threw a lively mehndi party! Mehndi, or henna, is traditionally applied to the bride’s hands and feet in elaborate designs. Other women in attendance can also have smaller, simpler designs applied to their hands.
Even the cake pops were decorated with mehndi-inspired designs!
4. Beautiful Bridal Details
Chic white Jimmy Choo heels and red and gold bangles put the finishing touches on the bride’s final wedding look.
The bride’s mother couldn’t hide her happiness when seeing her daughter for the first time before the reception. Just look at her reaction!
6. The Bride’s Stunning Reception Look
This bride’s final reception look was a stunner! She shimmered in a deep red bridal sharara with rich gold embellishments.
Handcrafted plaster relief ceilings and opulent chandeliers made this ballroom at The Biltmore Hotel the dream wedding venue.
Marsala roses and green orchids cascaded across this polished three-tier white wedding cake.
9. Seating For the Bride and Groom
The couple sat front-and-center on an exquisite sofa framed by lush red blooms and greenery.
