This mom and dad decided to throw their daughter a DIY colorful first birthday party – it definitely didn’t hurt that dad happened to be a graphic designer! From colorful food to colorful balloons, this first birthday party was just as special and bright as the little girl herself! Colorful Decor

The guests were greeted with a rainbow heart walkway leading up to the party. This was a great way to get them into party mode before they even entered the door.

And when the guests entered the party, there was a large multicolored banner wishing the birthday girl a happy birthday!

Colorful Snacks

The color didn’t stop with the decor; the snacks were just as vivid! Guests enjoyed red and yellow fruit skewers and rainbow heart-shaped cookies.

Lemonade, iced tea and fruit punch were poured into brightly colored bottles with rainbow cups to match! And cute little bottles with colorful tops were available for the friends of the birthday girl.

Colorful Cakes

Yes, we mean cakes – plural! This first birthday party had not just one gorgeous cake, but two! One was piled high and decorated beautifully for the guests, and the other was a smash cake for baby! And boy did she enjoy it!

Colorful Party Favors

And with a party as colorful as this one, it just wouldn’t be right to let the guests go home without bright party favors, too. Each party favor bag had the name of each guest written in a different color. It was filled with colorful goodies and set down on a table with lollipops and confetti hearts!
