Romantic Whimsical Wedding

As the bride and her bridesmaids got ready on the big day, each bridesmaid wore a fun spa robe covered in palm leaves. They’re nice bridesmaids gifts, but they also make for great photos.

Romantic Whimsical Wedding: Bridesmaids

No plain black shoes and black tie for the groom. Why not go for something special, like this brown dress shoes and blue and white floral tie? If you’re looking for ways to incorporate your wedding’s color scheme, this is an oft-forgotten way to do it.

Thomas even rocked that blue color scheme with his choice of blue suit and white dress shirt.

Another whimsical addition to any wedding is a fun venue or photo spot. This couple took their wedding photos in front of a beautiful train.

The emerald ties of the groomsmen matched well with the emerald and blue bridesmaid dresses.

The bride used a macrame wrap to hold her bouquet of wildflowers.

Rather than getting married under a traditional arch made of flowers or balloons, the bride instead entered the aisle through these antique doors.

Kimberly and Thomas said their vows surrounded by all of their important friends and family. Now the only thing left to do was celebrate with a stellar wedding reception.

The reception bar featured handcrafted cocktails tailor-made for the couple, including a drink that celebrates their love of trains: The Railroad Spike.

Forget the plain white serving dishes or silver vases. This green crystal glassware adds to the whimsical aesthetic.

The wildflowers weren’t just a staple of the bride’s bouquet. They dotted every reception table, along with clever painted wood table number.

For the head table, a “Mr and Mrs” cutout sign was surrounded by natural greenery.

A great way to turn an ordinary wedding into something delightfully whimsical is by mixing and matching the glassware. While these glasses have similar shapes and sizes, they feature a gorgeous jewel-toned color range.

No plain white wedding cake for this couple. They picked a cake with tiers of many different flavors and a “naked” design.

The guests raised their beers or their multi-colored glasses for every toast.

Stumped for decor ideas? Try Thomas and Kimberly’s trick with initials for the bride and groom’s names.

The couple added vintage elements to the wedding decor, like these old mantle clocks.

White glass vases of every shape and size filled an old wood bookcase.

If you have access to a house covered in old wood chairs, it’s the perfect opportunity for a romantic wedding photo.

At the end of the night, Kimberly and Thomas left the wedding reception in style with dozens of beautiful sparklers lighting their way to their getaway car.
