What’s one trend we absolutely love? English garden chic! With delicate floral motifs and vintage cameos, this is one tea party look that’s so Downton Abbey glam! Keep scrolling to see more dainty details from this elegant open-air English garden tea party bridal shower.
Cameos
Cameos are the perfect way to add a vintage touch to the shower. Label treats with cameo place card holders that come with beautiful floral cards. Cameo cookies made by Creating Awesomenessity were gorgeous additions to the dessert table!
Frosted cameo tea light holders made the best little bud vases!
Bubbly & Sweets
It’s not a party without some bubbly! Place bottles of champagne next to personalized champagne glasses so guests can serve themselves. Fill a teapot with hot tea and set teacups with different floral patterns nearby for some afternoon tea.
Biscuits, scones, fruit tarts, jam and mini cakes make a wonderful tea party spread.
A Customized Touch to the Table
Personalized touches make an event even more special. The bride-to-be will love a table runner with the couple’s initials and wedding date!
DIY Mini Bundt Cakes
Tiny bundt cakes are the cutest treats to offer guests! They would even make wonderful take-home sweets! Make your own lovely flower-topped cakes in two simple steps.
You’ll need:
- Mini bundt cakes (We baked our own with a mini bundt cake pan)
- Icing
- Fresh flowers (We used white roses)
First, weave one “looped” layer of icing around the cake, followed by a second layer on top. Cut the stems off the flowers and add the blooms on the top of each cake.
And, your charming cakes are complete!
Pretty Favors
Send guests home with little personalized strawberry jam and clover honey favors. Match favors with the theme with customized cameo or floral stickers.
Fill striped paper favor bags with candies and seal them with personalized stickers for a classy presentation.
Or leave favor bags out so guests can fill them with cookies, scones or other treats to take home after the shower!
