An Unforgettable Night Wedding in the City
City weddings are sleek, sophisticated, and filled with magic. And this night wedding in Chicago certainly embodied each of those elements. And best of all? The love between the bride and groom was so apparent throughout the entire night, spreading the happiness to the entire party. From the candlelit ceremony to the decadent food, this night wedding was one to remember. Here are some of our favorite parts!
Short and Sweet Wedding Dress
This bride said no to the wedding gown and instead opted for a short, but equally gorgeous, wedding dress. And after seeing all the dancing that went on at this wedding it was definitely a great choice!
The bridal party brought a ton of color into this wedding with their bouquets. The pinks, oranges, and greens really popped next to the white and navy dresses.
Is there anything more romantic than exchanging vows in a candlelit room? This bride and groom stood beneath a chuppah lined with candles while they started this new chapter of their lives.
Sleek Reception Decor
The reception and table decor had a sleek ambiance, which is perfect for any city wedding. Grey was the primary color with a few pops of color from the flowers and bits of pattern, like the chevron table runner.
String lights are gorgeous at any special event, but they are especially fitting for a city wedding. The lights were strung across the ceiling, making them resemble bright city lights.
Chicago is quite the foodie city. And this wedding made sure to stay true to its city with incredible food options and displays. Guests could choose from ragu, tacos, empanadas, and more. And each dish was plated beautifully. Oh and we can’t forget about the cake! It was an elegant but simple white cake with bright flowers. In many ways it resembled the bride’s wedding attire!
The food didn’t stop at dinner. The wedding favor bags were filled with delicious pastries. Because who doesn’t love a food favor?
Laughter, love, and dancing were key parts of this wedding. Everyone from the wedding party to the parents to the smaller children got up from their seats to dance along to the rocking band. Sitting simply wasn’t an option.
