We're talking about the best wedding cakes of 2019! The year saw a mix of new, interesting designs along with a resurgence of the classic white wedding cakes we've loved for decades. Gold was the queen of the accent colors, providing a decadent shine on one or more tasty tiers. Naked cakes continue to be a favorite for those who love a rustic flair. And, while cake trends come and go, the classic white tiered wedding cake isn't going anywhere. In 2019, these traditional desserts saw natural greenery as accents to the bright white buttercream or fondant. What will 2020 hold for wedding cakes? We'll just have to wait and see.
